There is an art to plowing snow that takes many winters and many kinds of snowstorms to master and we will soon have some more unneeded practice in that art. Our drivers have many years of experience.
When to plow is a seat-of-the-pants judgments. If we reveal ice after plowing the snow away, we add a mixture of salt and sand. We don't want to do that and then have an new snowfall cover it so we have to do the process again. We study all the weather forecasting and watch the radar to figure out when to plow and sand but will be happy to do your special schedule if you request.
We have five full time drivers but if the storms are large we add more drivers and more plows and we work 24 hrs per day to keep our customers snow free and sanded.
